Ryan Gander will hide 16,000 small coin-like artworks in publicly accessible areas of COEX and across Euljiro, Hannam, Cheongdam, and Samcheong. Finders may keep a work or pass it on. While visiting Frieze Seoul 2026, look beyond the booth walls.
Use the Talks programme as a meaningful pause
The Kiaf SEOUL × KAMS × Frieze Seoul Talks run from September 3–5 at Studio 159 on Level 2 of COEX. Sessions begin daily at 11:30, 14:00, and 16:30, with simultaneous Korean–English interpretation.
After several hours at Frieze Seoul 2026 and Kiaf, a seated conversation gives your legs a break and your eyes a new point of view. Topics range from Korean biennials and global museum collections to art-and-brand collaborations and diasporic identity.
Prepare online, then protect your energy at COEX
Open the Online Viewing Room first
The Kiaf SEOUL 2026 Online Viewing Room is scheduled for public access from August 26 to September 13. Frieze’s dedicated Online Viewing Room is due to open in the week before the fair. Save 5–10 artists or galleries and visit those first.
Eat lightly and rest deliberately
Snacks and drinks are sold inside the venue, while Starfield COEX Mall below has restaurants, cafés, and bars. A comfortable rhythm is a light meal before entry, a café or Talk break midway, and dinner afterward. Frieze Seoul 2026 is cashless; open food and drink containers are not allowed inside.
