That means these figures should not be interpreted as direct esthetic salon usage rates. Online minimum prices may be first-visit or weekday promotional prices, so check the final price and included items before booking.

In Seoul, it is practical to decide the area first based on your accommodation and travel plan, then compare treatment types and reviews within that area.

Gangnam Station is one of Seoul’s most active commercial areas and has many skin care salons as well as medical beauty clinics. Because of that, you should first check whether a listing is categorized as an esthetic salon or as a dermatology clinic. Gangnam also has many subway exits, so it is best to save not only the salon name but also the exit number and building floor.

Using English search phrases keeps the page readable for international visitors. Combine an area name, a treatment, and a language or foreigner-access term.

When reviewing search results, check recent reviews from the last 6 to 12 months, actual treatment photos, visible prices, treatment duration, booking method, and the business category.

The salons below are not presented as “the best” for every traveler. They are practical examples that are relatively easy to compare in terms of official information, operating style, foreign booking support, and visible review material. Business hours and programs may change, so confirm everything again before booking.

Some salons in Myeong-dong, Hongdae, Gangnam, Apgujeong, and Cheongdam accept Korean facial for foreigners bookings, but not every salon supports foreign-language consultation, overseas cards, or booking systems designed for foreign travelers.

5. Precautions Before and After Treatment and the Difference from Dermatology Clinics

If you have sensitive skin, do not choose a Korean facial treatment based only on the treatment name. Instead, check the products used and each step in the treatment.

Even if a treatment name sounds medical, a general esthetic salon does not treat skin disease or provide the same results as a medical procedure.
